We think the best two websites are

*Project Vote Smart's Vote Easy: http://votesmart.org/voteeasy/#

    *Ballotpedia: http://ballotpedia.org/

They are both run by nonpartisan nonprofit organizations and give you all the info you need to make an informed decision.

Be sure to remind your friends today is election day.

    Yes, you can still vote.

At some point you should update your voter registration to reflect your name change, but you shouldn't be turned away on Tuesday.

  • I registered to vote, but they spelled my name wrong.

    That is a bummer, Lottiemoons.

The best thing to do is complete another Voter Registration Form with the corrected information, and mail it to your county board of elections.

    You have several options:

-you can get a Voter Registration Form from your local board of elections
-you can download a PDF version of the Voter Registration Form from www.elections.state.ny.us/voting.html
    -you can call 1-800-FOR-VOTE
-or you can click the Register to Vote button on the right of this page

You can get your county board of elections information here: http://www.elections.state.ny.us/CountyBoards.html

    I hope that helps.

  • what is my district
